Kedwyrs and Issadoras departure

As all of you know, we have had a VERY difficult time getting this guild going. Both Issadora and myself have put together a wonderful guild theme and supplied it with a bank, forums and MANY great ideas. It was difficult getting recruits, but after we gathered about 10, we thought we could begin planning for the guilds future and such. However, we were wrong. Out of the member base, maybe 2 or 3 members were regularly active, most members turned out to be alts. Some that joined would every so often log in and then quickly out to avoid appearing like they were inactive. I couldn't even plan a guild meeting due to so much inactivity. The answer to the problem was to invite more members, however i felt like I was the only one recruiting, and even that was hopeless due to so many other guilds taking all of the available recruits. I took a break from WoW for a day and tried out a game i had bought about a year ago and never played. After playing this other game i realised what i had been missing was found here in the new game. For starters, the players in this game are ALL mature and roleplayers. When you undress your character to nothing, they are wearing full body covered underwear/longjohn type undergarments, so no more "naked dancers" to get an eye full of. I have played this game for three days now and did not hear swearing, arguing, cybering or any type of immature comments, not once. The graphics are beautiful, the playability is spectacular, they have PLAYER HOUSING! In my opinion.....I have found the better game and am leaving WoW. I wish all of you the best of luck and have fun in the WoW world. Though I imagine most of you are angry or upset, so i will for the next few days be visiting the forums to read any responses or questions you may have for me and Issadora.

you make many good points as to why the guild never took off but aside from that, im curious as to what game you all left us for??? and id like to tell ya that this being the internet, just wait it will be just as immature sooner or later but anyways, good luck on that new game, will misss u

We now play Lord of the Rings Online. It has been going for about a year now and it is a great game. I do not think it will have the same player mentality as WoW because it has eliminated things such as the "scantily clad characters", the sensual dancing, and pretty much anything that would attract the lude and non RP masses, thereby leaving the game to the more mature player who truly enjoys genuine "family friendly" fantasy MMORPGs. many people who we spoke to said they came FROM WoW because of the very same reasons i did. They were tired of the aggressive, sexually driven, rude players you find on WoW. Roleplay was nearly non existant and blizzard did not support it, infact, they put more effort into boosting the PvPness of the game. But i do not blame them....after all...it IS World of WARCRAFT. So, in conclusion....I think i chose the wrong game when i chose WoW and I have found the game I was looking for in LOTR Online. Let me know if any of you wish to join us and i will tell you the server we play on. Until then, enjoy azeroth, my friends.

I am sad you are leaving, but will you please come back and play WoW once in a while? The guild you came up with is such a wonderful idea and its horrible for it to go away. I have left the guild but I am having so much trouble finding a new one. You two both told me that this guild wasn't going to vanish or disband, now you both are leaving. You are the one who told me that its starting small so its going to take a while for it to get off the ground. You can talk to other guild members from other guilds like you did with me. Please consider this! This is a great guild!
